 At school everytime we do role plays for interviews in BCS, I generally end up in tears of laughter.

 (Apart from the photo above!...) When I went camping in Australia, the area was known to have crocodiles roaming freely!! Thinking one might be under the van, I let my wife go out first....just in case!!!

 To hopefully make a difference to young people's lives. I love working with pupils and seeing them progress and grow. They also entertain me and make me laugh on a regular basis.

 I travelled a few years ago around the world for a year and spent 4 nights bivouacing at the bottom of Ayres Rock in Australia.

 When travelling with a friend, we ran out of money, we entered a karaoke  competition in Bolton, The first prize was £100, we gave it everything! We really thought we had won it - only to come second and win a T-shirt. We were gutted!

 Ask my year 10 GCSE group - When demonstrating a shot in  badminton, I ended up tripping and falling over, Not my finest sporting moment!!!

 I love working with young people, helping to raise their aspirations and achievements. Also the variety of the job, no two days are the same.

I once auditioned for Cilla Black's 'Blind Date'. I recently applied to go on 'Come Dine With Me'. I hope I get chosen.

 In my first year of teaching, driving the school minibus with Year 11's in it and being stopped by the police who wanted to know where their teacher was! They thought we were all pupils who had taken the bus for a joyride!

 Screaming louder than Mrs Wilson at the sight of a giant bug whilst camping with Year 9's in the Ardeche after telling the pupils to be quiet. (It was massive, ask Mrs Wilson!)

 I was a teaching assistant before I did my training which made me realise how much teachers inspire their pupils.

 I am a qualified scuba diver and I have visited no fewer than 63 out of the 92 football league grounds!

 Watching my mum look like she was drowning in only a foot of water! This was at a water park in Florida and the look on the Lifeguards faces was a picture!!

 Being sat in a cafe in Tottenham with a bright orange Wigan Athletic away shirt after we had just been beaten 9-1!! I have been reminded of it ever since!

Because I wasn't good enough to play for Everton! And to hopefully inspire others in an interest and passion for history and just to try and make a positive difference 

Can't think of any really - I suppose I'm actually quite boring!

Most things that happen on a daily basis involving my two children: Harriet and Ben, especially when we put Radio One Floor Fillers on every Friday night and they both dance around the living room like lunatics!

Too many to mention - but as you ask - I suppose a good one must be on a "battlefields" visit some years ago, I gave an in-depth talk to a group of pupils from another school whilst my bunch looked on from afar! At the end of the talk the very bewildered pupils from London very politely asked me who I was!!! - My excuse - it was busy! 

I think that every student has the potential for success. This potential is so exciting - each new year presents new challenges and new potential successes. I want to be a part of that process.

 I love swimming in the sea even though I am petrified of fish! My goal is to scuba dive this summer and conquer my fear.

 I love listening to most types of music. Favourite artists include Killers, George Michael, Elvis, Patsy Cline, My Chemical Romance and The Rat Pack.

 I was swimming at the sun centre in Rhyl with my parents and sister.My parents were not aware of the wave machine that the centre ran every 20 mins or so. I will never forget watching a wave hit my dad's back causing his false teeth to fly out of his mouth. I couldn't contain my laughter as I watched him try to 'save' his teeth.

 When I got an interview for this job I bought myself a new suit. During the afternoon I realised that there was still a tag on the sleeve of my jacket that I had somehow missed! I was being interviewed at the time and therefore could only cover the tag with my other hand. I got the job so I'm thinking that nobody noticed?
